The first step for students seeking financial assistance is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial Aid Officers use this form to determine students' eligibility and to help decide what resources are best suited to their circumstances. Students must meet all eligibility requirements to qualify for Federal Student Aid.

The following assistance programs are available at CCA:

Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Work Study Program, Federal Direct Subsidized loan, Direct Unsubsidized loan, Direct Parent loan for Undergraduate Students, and a TFC Corporation monthly payment plan.

Other programs are available at CCA:

Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Vocational Rehabilitation, Veteran's Educational Assistance Programs, the California Chafee Grant Programs, and etc.
